Karen and Charles Phillips Charitable Helps Single Mom and Domestic Violence Survivor

dunphyA single mother of three young boys, Heidi Dunphy is a survivor of domestic violence. Since the hours for her part-time job were cut, she’s found it difficult to get by. Rent and car payments add up, and she has received little in the way of child support. The stress of trying to make ends meet has taken its toll on her family, and she has struggled to overcome the trauma she experienced.

The grant Ms. Dunphy received from PCO will provide her with some relief and breathing space. The funds will help her stay in her home and keep her car while she continues to look for a full-time job to support her family.
